Assessing potential productivity is an important part of evaluating the commercial viability of farm forestry operations. This publication assesses the potential of general regions and specific sites for farm forestry within south-eastern Australia. A statistical approach using multiple regression equations, including factors generated by a simple growth model called Growest, was also tried for comparative purposes. The analyses will help farm foresters and extension workers assess the potential of different regions and specific sites.
