This publication reports the results of laboratory tests on the pulpwood properties of 13 eucalypt
species with potential for use in farm forestry plantations. The data are used to develop an index of
the suitability of each species for pulpwood production, compared with existing commercial
pulpwood resources. The information should assist farmers in selecting species with the potential to
produce an optimum mix of products for the markets in their region.
